World Bank Releases List Of Nigerian Looters : See What They Have Done To Us ! – Nairaland……the more significant issue is why Western governments do not pursue the ill-gotten gains of these robber barons with the same zeal they show when it comes to drug barons. Obviously, it is in their countries financial interest not to do so. Looking forward, there is tremendous opportunity to build grass-roots support in the West for measures that will make it difficult for Africa’s stolen money to stashed in the West. That is true “aid”.

Two articles I read recently throw up some possible scenarios for the WWW as we know it and fly in the face of the conventional wisdom that the Web is only going to get more global, faster and an essential part of our lives. The first article looks at the possible slowdowning of the Web in advanced economies; the second illustrates the likelihood of a two or three tier Web experience as developing countries with no advertising money get the low rent version of the Web.
